πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡ INGREDIENTS (Chicken Drumsticks Fry) πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡


Masala Mix:


  • Chicken Drumsticks (around 6-8) - 500 gms 
  • Black Soya  Sauce  - 2 tablespoons
  • Kashmiri Chilli Powder - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt  - 1 teaspoons 
  • 1 tablespoons black pepper, divided
  • Ginger paste - 1/2 tsp
  • Garlic  paste - 1/2 tsp
  • Curd/Yogurt - 3 - 4 tablespoons


Chicken spicy coating ingredients:


- All purpose flour/Maida- 2 cups

- Bread crumbs - 2 cups

- Chilli powder-1 tsp

- Salt- 1.5 tsp

- Corn Flour - 2 tablespoons

- Garlic powder-1/4 tsp(optional)

- Paprika powder - ½ tsp

- Oregano - 1tsp

- Egg - 1 -2 pcs with ⅛ pinch of salt

- Refined oil- for deep frying


Preparation:


- Wash and  dry the chicken drumsticks. Pierce all chicken drumsticks and set aside.

- To marinate all chicken drumsticks. 

- Add 2 tsp of Black Soya  Sauce,Kashmiri Chilli Powder & 1 tsp of salt. Mix well.

- Add black papers,Garlic & Ginger paste.

- Add yogurt & mix all ingredients.then Cover it.

-  Mix well and Cover and set aside at room temperature for around 90 mins.

- Break 1or 2 eggs into the smaller container and add a pinch (1/8 tsp) of salt. Whisk it well.

- In the bigger square container or big dish, add 2 cups of flour/maida and add salt,Chilli powder, Corn flour & Paprika powder and add a few Oregano mix . Mix it thoroughly with a small spatula or spoon. 

- Take out one chicken drumstick at a time from the marinade and then transfer the marinade chicken in the flour mixture and mix it well to coat the chicken pieces well with flour.  

-Then Coat it in the whisked egg & place in the bread crumbs and coat it well.

- Repeat the same for all the Chicken  drumsticks and keep the breaded chicken drumsticks  on a plate.Keep it  in a refrigerator for 5 hrs or you can fry it one days later.


Process:

- Take a flat deep pan and pour oil sufficient to deep fry the tenders. Heat the oil to medium hot.

- Once the oil is medium hot, drop the tenders one at a time so as to not crowd the pan, say 3-4 in one batch.

- After around 2-3 mins once the tenders start floating on top, turn them over. Continue to fry them for 3 more minutes, turning them a few times till the tenders are golden brown on all sides.

- Remove from oil and put in the next batch. Repeat the process. 

- Fry in batches of 3 - 4 chicken drumsticks each time.

   

Deep fry the chicken:

- When chicken turns brown in colour, cover the pan with a lid and reduce the heat. Cook the chicken on medium flame, until they are crisp. Once crispy, put them on a paper towel and drain off the extra oil from fried chicken. Serve hot!
